Aaron M. Whitehouse Named President of The Evans Agency

Hamburg, N.Y., September 5, 2019 – The Board of Directors of The Evans Agency, LLC has appointed Aaron M. Whitehouse President of The Evans Agency, LLC, effective September 1, 2019.

In his new role, Whitehouse will have overall responsibility for leadership and strategic direction of the Agency, charged with competitively growing the business within Evans’ established culture and values. He will lead all aspects of the business including Property and Casualty, Employee Benefits and Frontier Claims, along with sales placement, account management and servicing operations. He will also continue to directly manage Personal Lines sales and customer relations and will be responsible for fostering relationships and collaborative referrals with his partners throughout the organization. He will report directly to Evans Bank President & CEO David J. Nasca in his new position.

With over 24 years of industry experience, Whitehouse joined Evans in July 2018 when The Evans Agency, LLC, acquired the business of Richardson & Stout Insurance (“R&S”) of Wellsville, N.Y, where he served as President. The transaction was the 16th insurance acquisition completed by Evans and brought The Evans Agency’s annualized premiums to over $100 million.

Ian Whitehouse will continue in his senior leadership role as Commercial Lines Director with responsibility for Account Executives and sales, placement, service and account management. He will have a direct-line reporting relationship to Aaron for business direction and a dotted line relationship to David Nasca for matters concerning compensation and expense management, in addition to employment and company policy.
