Evans Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of John Eagleton to Executive Vice President and Bruce Bonhoff to Senior Vice President.
John Eagleton has been promoted to Executive Vice President. Serving as Chief Commercial Lending Officer, Eagleton oversees Evans’ commercial loan and small business lending efforts. He has nearly 30 years of lending experience in underwriting and loan origination with small, mid-market, developers, and large corporate clients. Previously with Evans from 1994 to 1999, Eagleton rejoined the bank in 2009.
Eagleton is actively involved with the local Small Business Administration (SBA) and is a member of the New York Business Development Corporate (NYBDC) Loan Committee. In the community, he serves on the Board of Directors for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Buffalo Orchard Park. Eagleton holds a Masters of Business Administration from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College in Buffalo. He resides in Orchard Park with his family.
Bruce Bonhoff has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Bonhoff joined Evans in 2010, and is currently serving as a Commercial Loan Officer and Team Leader, overseeing the commercial and industrial lending group. He has more than 25 years of financial services experience in commercial lending, portfolio management, and equity funding for the manufacturing, retail, apparel, and service industries.
Bonhoff is a longtime member of the Canisius College Business School Advisory Board, where he regularly mentors MBA students. He is also volunteers his time as a member of the Fredonia State College Business Counsel. Bonhoff holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Canisius College in Buffalo. He resides in Clarence with his family.
