Lisa Nelson and Steve Molnar have been promoted to Bank Officer at Western New York’s community bank.
Nelson serves as a Senior Compliance Specialist, responsible for monitoring bank procedures for adherence to applicable laws and regulations; implementing new regulations, and coordinating regulatory compliance examinations. Nelson joined Evans in 2008; she has more than 30 years of banking and financial services experience.
Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Canisius College. In the community, Nelson volunteers for the Eden Music and Arts Boosters, where she serves as Treasurer. She resides in Eden, N.Y.
Molnar serves a Senior Credit Analyst and Credit Officer. He joined Evans in 2015 as a Senior Credit Analyst with more than 10 years of experience in lending and underwriting. Molnar is responsible for underwriting large commercial credit requests and annual customer relationship reviews; additionally overseeing the bank’s credit scoring and evaluation process.
Prior to joining Evans, Molnar served as a portfolio underwriter for small business and business banking at First Niagara Financial Group and a residential mortgage underwriter at HSBC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages from Canisius College. In the community, Molnar volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. He resides in West Seneca, N.Y.
