Evans Bank announced that it ranked 99th on American Banker Magazine’s 2015 list of the Top 200 Publicly Traded Community Banks and Thrifts. This is the second consecutive year for Evans in the Top 200; the company’s ranking improved from 117th in 2014. Evans was the only Western New York-based bank to make the list.
“Being named a Top 200 Community Bank is very gratifying and a testament to our hardworking associates and the strong relationships we have with our customers and the community,” said David Nasca, President and CEO of Evans Bank. “We’re honored to have been acknowledged by American Banker for this recognition.”
The American Banker Top 200 rankings were based on three-year return on equity (ROE), and included publicly-traded banks with less than $2 billion in total assets as of December 31, 2014. There were 750 total financial institutions across the U.S. that fit the ranking criteria. To view the complete list, click here.
