Upgraded digital banking makes managing finances easy at home and on the go

Evans Bank has announced the launch of its newly enhanced online and mobile banking services, offering an easier-to-use design and improved features, like added security and improved bill pay.

“While Evans continues to make investments in technology, we listened closely to our customers and took great care in improving our online and mobile banking experiences,” said Mary Ellen Frandina, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Evans Bank. “Our upgraded services allow customers to easily and securely manage their financial lives at home or on the go from virtually any device.”

Evans has streamlined its online banking platform with speed, reliability, and greater security for personal banking and business customers. Added security includes stronger passwords and a two-step password authentication when customers attempt to log on from a new device. The improved bill pay service offers daily financial management tools with detailed history, payment reminders, and the ability to pay multiple bills at the same time.

As part of the upgrade, Evans has introduced a new and optimized mobile banking application for Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, Android phone and tablet. Current mobile banking customers will need to delete the previous Evans Bank application and download the new and improved Evans Mobile Banking app.

Usernames for personal and business customers remain the same for the enhanced systems, while a temporary password using individual identifiers will be required for initial login. Several resources are available to help customers navigate the upgraded offerings, including a step-by-step User Guide and a dedicated web page on the bank’s website.
