Online Banking
Evans Online Banking offers easy and secure access to your financial life. View account balances, track your spending, pay bills, transfer funds, access statements, and much more from the convenience of your home, office, or any web browser.

Enrolling in Online Banking
As a customer of Evans Bank, you automatically have access to Evans Online Banking. To enroll, click the Log In link at the top of any page or our website. From the pop-up, click Enroll in the lower right corner and follow the on-screen instructions.

Logging in for the first time
From any page of the Evans website, click Login at the top right of the page. At the login screen, input your Username and click Sign On to enter the authentication process.
An enhanced two-step authentication process will be required each time you log in from a new device, including your initial login for online banking. For added security, a five-digit security code will be sent via text to your chosen mobile device (or a call placed to your land line phone). You will need this code as part of the initial sign-on process.

Changing your password
Evans Online Banking requires users to change their password once a year. When the times comes, users with be prompted with a screen stating that your password has expired. New passwords must include a minimum of eight characters with at least one number, one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and a special character (!, $, @ ect.). Passwords are valid for one year.

Managing account alerts
Setting up account alerts is a convenient way to keep track of your account activity. To set up, change, or add an account alert, selecting Alerts from the Self Service menu option in the top navigation.

Adding an account nickname
Adding a nickname to your accounts is a fun and easy way to keep your banking information organized. To use the account nickname feature within Online Banking, select Account Maintenance from the Self Service menu option in the top navigation. On the next screen, locate the Account Name field, enter your account nickname, and click the Submit button.
Mobile Banking
All your banking – whenever, wherever. As an Evans Online Banking customer, you automatically have access to Evans Mobile Banking. The Evans Bank mobile app is available for all your favorite mobile devices and tablets, including Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, and Android.

Logging into Mobile Banking
To log in, use the same Login ID and password you use to access online banking. At first time login, you’ll be required to complete a two-step authentication process. For added security, a five-digit security code will be sent via text to your chosen mobile device (or a call placed to your land line phone). This helps keeps you safe and registers your device. Follow the on-screen prompts. After verification, you’ll see a welcome message.
With Evans Mobile Banking, you can find an Evans Bank location, ask for help or learn more about Evans Bank without logging in.

Viewing your accounts
After the initial welcome message, you will be taken to your accounts. Tap any account to access the account summary and transaction details.
Selecting the + sign will take you to the Menu screen where you can transfer funds, pay and manage bills, make a deposit, and more.

Using the menu
Selecting the + sign at the bottom of the screen will take you to the Menu screen where you can transfer funds, pay and manage bills, make a deposit, control you debit card, and more.
Select Card Controls to lock and unlock your Debit card.
Tap Alerts to to set up and manage account alerts.
Select Payees to manage account payee and and pay bills.
Selecting the X sign exits the menu screen and returns you to the accounts screen.

Performing a mobile transfer
First select the account you wish to transfer money from.
Then select the account you wish to transfer money to.
Select the amount to be transferred.
Tap Continue to save and transfer now.

Using mobile check deposit
Depositing checks is easy.
Tap the main menu, select Deposit, and follow the on-screen instructions to photograph the front and back of your check using your smart phone or mobile device camera.
Tap Continue to confirm and make your deposit.

Adding and managing payees
Access Mobile Bill Pay by selecting the “Plus” button in the middle of the bottom menu bar.
To add a new payee, select the “+” icon at the top right of the Bill Pay page.
You may also add payees or manage existing payees from the payee list option in Mobile Bill Pay.

Using card controls
The Evans card control option on Mobile Banking allows you turn your Debit Card on or off at your convenience and add rules for card usage based on dollar amounts, locations, and types of merchants.
Simply select the Debit Card you would like to control and use to toggle switch to enable or disable your card for use.

Adding your Debit Card to Apple Wallet
Add your Evans Bank Debit MasterCard to your Apple Wallet to make contactless payments and app-based purchases.
Simply select the “ADD” button within Apple Wallet from your iPhone and follow the prompts to set up your card for Apple Pay.
Bill Pay
The Evans Bill Pay service lets you make payments from anywhere quickly, conveniently, and securely. View and pay your bills from one easy website, schedule single, recurring, or future-dated payments; track your payment status, and history, and customize reports to track and budget spending.

Getting started with Online Bill Pay
After signing onto Evans Online Banking, select Bill Pay. This will take you to the Bill Pay Start Screen.
From the start, Evans new Bill Pay offers you the ability to:
- Add a Payee.
- Make multiple or recurring payments and manage payees.
- Make a single, quick, one-time payment.
- From any Bill Pay screen, you can also select Activity to view, print or report recent and scheduled payments.
- You can also view payment history by clicking on the History tab.

Add a payee
Click Add a Payee in the top left corner of the screen and follow the prompts. Search hundreds of popular local and national retailers/utilities/financial institutions, making it simple to add or update payees. Manual entry is also available.

Make payments
Pay bills all at once on the Make Payments tab. Simply add the amount, send date and click confirm.
Set up future and recurring payments. Evans new Bill Pay also offers “coming due” reminders to help keep you on track.

Manage payees
From any payee, click the drop down menu.
This feature let’s you edit payee information, add invoices, make additional payments, view bills and more.

Using the single payment option
Make a single payment quickly in the Single Pay tab. You can also manage payee information by clicking the Options drop down located within the payee box.
Online Banking for Business
Online Banking for Business offers intuitive features to make managing your cash flows easier and more efficient. We’ve designed the experience with clear drop down menus, smarter workflows and fewer icons. Use Evans Online Banking to manage cash flows, monitor account activity and originate ACH and wire transfers–wherever and whenever you need.

Overall features and benefits
Search transaction history by date range.
Account detail provides both pending and posted items, reducing the number of clicks to access this information.
Schedule recurring ACH transactions, wires, and account transfers.
Enhanced batching for ACH and wire transfers. You can upload and save your own templates to work within Evans Online Banking for Business.
Business users also have access to mobile banking, payments, and mobile deposit

Cash Management features and services
For Cash Management, the services offered under the Cash Manager tab can be accessed by intuitive, functional tabs.
Under the Transfers tab, you can originate ACH, upload ACH files, conduct wire transfers, make loan payments, and move funds between accounts.
Under the Customer Service tab, you can securely send documents to Evans, submit inquiries or request stop payments, check copies or statements.
Positive Pay and ACH Debit Filter will be totally integrated into the new Online Banking for Business under the Positive Pay tab.

Please remember: Evans Bank will never contact you via phone to ask for personal or account information, including but not limited to, social security numbers, account numbers, mother’s maiden name, debit and/or credit card numbers, passwords, pin numbers, or similar information. Please do not give out or confirm any personal information associated with your accounts, unless you initiated the phone call. Use caution if you are being pressured for information immediately or if there is a sense of urgency.
