The Evans Agency,LLC, the property and casualty insurance subsidiary of Evans Bancorp, Inc., has welcomed Paul Terranova as a Commercial Lines Account Executive, and promoted Kathleen Armstrong and Marissa Metzger to Assistant Vice President and Company Officer, respectively.

Paul Terranova joins The Evans Agency with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Paul is an Account Executive specializing in commercial insurances for contractors, machine shops, oil marketers, and manufacturing companies. He most recently served as a marketing representative for Federated Mutual Insurance Company. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a former member of the Western New York Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors, and is an active member and volunteer at the St. Christopher School and Parish in Tonawanda. He resides in Pendleton with his wife and children.

 

Kathleen Armstrong has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. She joined The Evans Agency in 2012 as the Employee Benefits Manager. Kathleen is responsible for the management, sales, and marketing of Evans’ employee benefits services. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from St. Bonaventure University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Canisius College; she is a member and graduate of Leadership Buffalo. Kathleen is also member of the business continuity and women’s leadership teams at Evans.

 

 

 

Marissa Metzger has been promoted to Officer. She joined The Evans Agency in 2004 and is currently serving as Commercial Lines Service Manager, where she oversees the agency’s client servicing team. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Brockport and is a certified Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). She is currently pursuing her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certification. In the community, Marissa leads the youth group at her church and teaches Sunday school. Marissa is also an active member of New York State Women, Inc., a state-wide not-profit agency whose mission is to build powerful women personally, professionally, and politically.
