Enhanced digital banking services are coming soon from Western New York’s local, full-service community bank. Over the weekend of March 24, 2017, Evans will be upgrading its online banking, bill pay, and mobile banking services. Upgraded services will be available beginning Monday, March 27, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
Customers will enjoy the same day-to-day digital banking services they love today, like mobile check deposits, balance inquiries, transfers, and more with an easier-to-use design and improved features, such as added security and improved bill pay. Improvements are being made based on customer demand, while the bank continues to gain efficiency with investments in technology.
Evans is strengthening its online banking platform with speed, reliability, and greater security. As part of the upgrade, Evans is introducing new password standards and two-step password authentication when customers attempt to log on from a new device. Customer usernames for the enhanced systems remain the same, while stronger passwords will be required. The new bill pay service offers easy daily financial management tools with detailed history, payment reminders, and the ability to pay multiple bills at the same time.
Evans is also introducing a new and optimized mobile banking application for several devices, including Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, Android phone and tablet. After the upgrade occurs, customers will need to delete the current Evans Bank application and download the new and improved Evans Bank app from the Apple App Store or Android Marketplace.
As the upgrade approaches, customers will receive a detailed, step-by-step guide via U.S. mail that will walk them through the enhancements and the new login process.
