Careers at Evans
Join a team where through our recognized “Great Place to Work” culture, you will experience a community of belonging, purpose, influence, impact, accountability, agility and collaboration. We do this within a coaching environment that nurtures career development, offers competitive salaries, and paid opportunities to volunteer within our communities.
Our Inclusive Culture
At Evans, we pride ourselves for being an inclusive culture that embraces associates and creates opportunities. We are committed to ensuring that an inclusive culture is a strategic priority. Our goal is to build the preeminent community financial institution, admired for performance, culture, integrity and talent.
With our core value of “Valuing Others” in mind, we strive to provide a safe and rewarding work environment for our team, this is demonstrated through pay parity. For us, pay parity means ensuring associates in the same job grade are paid relative to one another, regardless of their gender or race/ethnicity.
We invite associates to dress as a reflection of who they are. We respect and welcome the uniqueness of each individual.
We offer an optional hybrid working model for most office-based positions. A hybrid model means that associates whose positions do not require full-time presence at a physical Evans location to carry out their job responsibilities may work both onsite and remotely on a consistent and thoughtful basis.
To ensure that all associates are free from harassment or discrimination, Evans maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment or discriminatory conduct which is based on any category protected by law. Our non-discrimination and anti-harassment policy also prohibit harassment or discrimination by a supervisor, employee, client/customer, visitor, or representative of business with whom we interact as part of our job responsibilities. We provide training on this area at least on an annual basis for all staff and annually inform each registered vendor of our commitment, and the role they have in these areas. We also work within the high standard developed by our Code of Conduct Policy.
