The Evans Employee Experience—A Better Way.
Each associate begins their Evans career through a structured onboarding program designed by both our Employee Experience Team and the direct Manager of the position. You will receive information on our systems, programs, processes, our company culture and how we work at Evans. After your initial learning, you will then meet with your Manager regularly throughout the year for coaching discussions. Through these sessions you will discuss recent positive events and results, any challenges, align on priorities while discussing progress made against goals and projects before closing out the session in discussing efforts in your continued professional development. We don’t believe in annual performance reviews. We would rather invest in your development throughout the year and receive your feedback through employee surveys and focus groups. We have a keen interest in the thoughts, ideas and suggestions of our associates. We then share the findings along with actions developed in a timely fashion. With this approach, we have been honored with the Best Place to Work in WNY by our associates for the last five years.
